<LionZip> CIRCLE was there in San Diego but they did not do much in Hawaii - but they are certainly welcome
<LionKon_IT> Probably a unique booth should be more impressive and we could divide better the time to spend there
<kokelaar-cl> i think that it will be quite obvious that lol, eilc and circle are in the same booth as they represent diferent areas for the same objective
<LionZip> The booth costs us about $1,000 US, and Dan usually pays most of that himself. LOL has a fund for the booth - you might try to help with that if your members care to do so
<LionZip> We did a double booth last year with signs for LionNet, LOL, CORCLE, EILC and LEO's
<LionZip> that was a good presentation
<LionKon_IT> well, a fund for Conventions was previewed in the EILC Constitution
<LionZip> It would be a welcome asset - but not a requirement
<LionKon_IT> and also CIRCLE has spoken several time about funds to show their work during the Conventions

<LionKon_IT> However I don't see great problem to find funds to pay these costs
<kokelaar-cl> zip it is not quite clear why a booth at an international convention should cost a US $ 1000, I thought that LCI put up the booth to promote in general the cybernetic comunication 
<LionZip> LOL members "pop in" continually during the day

<LionZip> LionNet (Dan Uitti) and LOL order the booth and the T-1 connection and phone lines
<LionZip> and the tables and chairs
<LionZip> and the carpet

<LionZip> by the time all the "extra things" get added - I think San Diego was about $1000 and Hawaii was about $850

<LionKon_IT> Jan, also in the EUROPA FORUM you have to pay to have a booth where you can show your workfrom MD to Club Level
<kokelaar-cl> in other words the booth is free, but you have to pay for the services and implementation
<LionZip> the booth is only about $50.00

<kokelaar-cl> here in chile we often get promotion from the local comuniction firms like Telefonica, Bellsouth, ntel, etc they do promote their products and you get a free installation of telefone lines including a special rate for internet conection
