TITLE: Demand of Ophthalmologic equipment

PLACE: Montevideo, URUGUAY

COST: US $ 10.000 a US $ 12.000.

Destined to a free Ophthalmologic Doctor's office founded six years ago, it takes care of 100 needed people per week and are taken care by Ophthalmologic doctors of Public Health system in the premises of the Parish San Carlos Borromeo. This equipment is necessary because it’s precision, especially for the study of the children’s sight.

 

Description:
Refractometro mark Humphrey or another model: Acuitus - Octometro with Queratometro.

 

The local Montevideo - El Prado, Rincón de la Bolsa, 33 Orientales, Dionisio Díaz y Delta El Tigre Lions Clubs co-sponsors of the project must commit themselves to the following points:

Inform monthly or each three months to the sponsoring Club.

To make sure that the equipment is installed and in perfect use.

Checking the equipment is in good conservation and proper maintenance

The total investment for the Ophthalmologic equipment would from US $ 10000 to US $ 12000:

To help this free Doctor's office, administered by five Clubs: Montevideo-El Prado, Rincón de la Bolsa, 33 Orientales, Dionisio Díaz and Delta El Tigre. It belongs to the three Districts in which Uruguay is distributed: J1, J2 and J3. The price of the equipment is the cost in Uruguay; possibly it could be more economic in another country. It is important to consider if the equipment came from outside it could be taxed by the customs of Uruguayan as in the country of origin.
