As you know, numerous studies conducted over several years have revealed the extreme state of poverty in Tafeelah Province, where one can find complete villages consisting of Orphans living in dwellings without the minimum requirement of human existence and dignity, needless to mention a respectful life.

Knowing your esteemed embassy and its philanthropy directives to help the local society, in particular the underprivileged communities, our club WADI RUM LIONS CLUB looks towards your active participation and generous contribution to elevate this project into reality.

This project shall consist of a tow-story building with area approximately 650 Sq. meters distributed as follows:

A ground floor area of 350 Sq. meters containing a multipurpose Hall divided into two sections (men and women) with Bathrooms and a kitchen to be used as a Wedding Hall or for any other purpose that generates income for the orphans to qualify them to maintain and earn an honest living.
An upper floor area of 300 Sq. meters containing a Tailoring Workshop with a multipurpose Hall to be used for lectures, vocational training… etc. in addition to the administration offices. This floor shall be used to enhance the capabilities of the widows and to vocationally train the Orphans to qualify them to maintain and earn an honest living.

A preliminary study conducted on this project estimated the cost to be approx. USD $183.667.11 including the land which was arranged by the Orphanage with a total area of 4952 Sq. meters in a suitable site for the proposed project. Cost of land was over than USD $76.756.00 managed by full and land already registered by the name of the orphanage a month ago.

Since the club is not in a position to finance the project as a whole without the generous assistance of other respectful Government / organization / firms such as your good selves, we present to you this informative letter to be considered as a "letter of intent " to obtain your initial intention for donation, indicating the minimum and maximum amount of such contribution. The Club’s decision to proceed with the formal study including the preparation of Engineering documents, obtaining the required permits from the concerned parties and establishing a budget for this project, shall be based on your positive reply.

We look forward to receiving your positive and encouraging reply, in the mean time, kindly do not transfer any funds until a resolution to proceed is apassed and the necessary permits are issued.
